Arvil Loyd Kennedy, age 92 a resident of the Frost Bottom Community of Oliver Springs, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020.He worked as a coal miner for 35 years and was a member of Frost Bottom Baptist Church. In his free time, Arvil enjoyed working on watches.Arvil was preceded in death by wife, Thelma Kennedy; parents, Mike and Laura Kennedy; son, Jeff Kennedy; brothers, Earl Kennedy and Robert Kennedy; sisters, Rosie Marlow and Ella Kennedy.Survivors include his son, Rodney Kennedy (Sandy Farley) of Rockwood; grandchildren, Stacy Arthur (David) of Lenoir City, Scott Kennedy (Andrea) of North Carolina, Chelsea Lantz (Anthony) of Harriman, Eric Kennedy (Lindsay) of Knoxville, and Cristan Kennedy (Ashley) of Lenoir City; great grandchildren, Haley Szentmarton (Heath), Bryson Arthur, Camron Arthur, Gage Kennedy, Sam Kennedy, Emily Rowland, Ava Lantz, Leo Lantz, Hayden Lantz, Addie Kennedy, Mason Kennedy, and Trisha Kennedy.A private graveside service will be held at Frost Bottom Cemetery.Premier Sharp Funeral Home is proudly serving the Kennedy family. www.sharpfh.com
