Cecil Holland, age 92 of Oliver Springs, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at his home. He was born January 18, 1928 in Morris Chapel in west Tennessee.Cecil and his family moved to Oliver Springs in 1971 and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He retired from TVA as a Heavy Equipment Operator and was a member of IBEW 365 for over 60 years. Cecil was a member of Masonic Lodge 536, Scottish Rite, and Beech Park Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Vann Holland; parents, Tony Otis Holland and Lydia Johnson Holland; twin daughters, Cecilia and Celeste Holland; sisters, Louise Scott and Lucille Davidson; brothers, R.C. Holland, Burl Holland, Earl Holland, James Albert Holland, Thomas Holland, and Hallie Holland.Cecil is survived by his son, Terry Holland and wife Jane of Oliver Springs; daughter, Kim Holland Tuggle of Oliver Springs; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; special friends, Willie Hensley and Jim Massengill; a host of other special friends and extended family.A Graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Oliver Springs Cemetery with Pastor Robbie Leach officiating. Premier Sharp Funeral Home is honored to serve the Holland family.
