Christopher "Ryan" Strickland, age 33, a resident of Anderson County, passed away at Methodist Medical Center on Sunday, February 6, 2022.He was born on October 23, 1988 in Oak Ridge. He did masonary work and was a driver for Christian Brother's Moving Company. He was a member of Kelly Town Baptist Church. Chris enjoyed raising game roosters, watching football and spending time with his boys "Little Chris and Bentley". He was preceded in death by his sister, Tabitha Blalock; by his grandpa, William M. Strickland and by his papaw, Lonnie Blalock. Survived by his fathers, Lonnie L. Blalock and wife Lisa of Nobelsville, Indiana and Steve Copeland and wife Terry of Oliver Springs, TN; by his mother, Wanda Gail Strickland of Clinton, TN and fiance' Sandy Carden; by his two sons, "Little Chris W. Stickland" and Bentley P. Strickland both of Oliver Springs, TN and by the mother of his children, Jessica Napier; by brothers, Todd D. Blalock and fiance' Becca Martin of Oliver Springs, TN and Steve Eugene Copeland; by sisters, Brittanne Copeland and Whitney Copeland; by grandma's, Wanda Trammel and Hazel Copeland; special friend, Stephanie Powell Jordan and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Premier Sharp Funeral Home in person, by mail or over the phone at 865-435-7261 to help Chris' family with the funeral expenses. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Premier Sharp Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 7 pm with Pastor Matt Reed officiating.
