Obituary

Daniel Thomas Kelly, age 72 of Louisville, TN, originally of Oliver Springs, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 8, 2019.Dan was born on April 29, 1947 in Oliver Springs to the late Daniel C. Kelly Jr. "Junior" and Willene Tidwell Kelly. Dan was a graduate of Oliver Springs High School and a graduate of Hiwassee College with a degree in Accounting. He proudly served his country as a Veteran in the Air Force until he was Honorably Discharged from Malmstorm Air Force Base, Montana. He later retired from Alcoa Aluminum Co. in 2004 where he was known as "Big Motor." Dan also served as President of Mentor Community Club for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who was quick with a smile, a joke, and a pocket full of candy. Dan always enjoyed being with his family and had a deep love for his grandchildren. He was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church in Louisville.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Kelly Wilson and his father and mother-in-law, Wilson and Geneva Frazier.Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Brenda Gail Frazier Kelly of Louisville, TN; children, Bonnie Lou Hilger (Shilo) of Fairfield, IA and Daniel Kelly (Sarah) of Etowah, TN; brothers, Eddie Kelly (Jodie), Pat Kelly (Debbie); aunt, Carolyn Kelly; sister-in-law, Barbara Swails (Jerry), all of Oliver Springs; grandchildren, Laurel, Spencer, Violet, and Wilson Hilger and Daniel Timothy and Elizabeth Kelly; nieces and nephews, Eddie Ray Kelly, Becky Parker, Logan and Raelyn Kelly, Kevin and Kellee Hargis, Amy Watkins and Tony Younger; special friends, David and Deborah Neumann.Visitation will be from 4-7 pm on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Premier Sharp Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 7 pm with Rev. Kenny Armstrong officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1 pm on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Alcoa for a graveside service with Full Military Honors.In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Louisville Christian Assistance Center, P.O.
