Obituary

Donna Jolene Wells-Blair

December 19, 1985~December 4, 2025

Donna Jolene entered her life at Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio on December 19, 1985 at 7:07am born to Dawn Fussnecker Ferrell and Ronald Joe Wells. Living a short time in Ripley, Ohio the family moved to places in Tennessee. She spent a lot of her youth with her half-sister, Cherie Lee Ferrell Cato in Deville and Pineville, Louisiana. Growing up as an adolescent she returned to her parental home in Oak Ridge starting a life of her own with two children, son Daniel Allen Bryant, Jr. and daughter, Franklin Carolina Bryant.

Her young adult life wasn't picture perfect as addictions played a significant part in her younger life. She openly shared her struggles.

But she found and accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior!

Tragedy struck again, as she was traveling with Lathan when both lives were abruptly taken in a motor vehicle accident on December 4th; two weeks shy of her 40th birthday.

Donna Jo leaves to mourn her passing, mother Dawn Lee Fussnecker Ferrell, father Ronald Joseph Wells, sister Cherie Ferrell Cato, her estranged children, Daniel Allen Bryant Jr and Frankii Carolina Bryant, brother-in-law, Larry Cato, nephews Anthony Ryan Hagan and Bryce Cato. Uncle Dave Wells and Aunt Mary Wells Cawthorn (Richard) cousins, Roxanne Ellen Malone, Erin Gomez, Alex Owen, and Oscar; and many, many more cousins.

Preceding her in death are maternal grandparents Alonzo Bernard "Banjo" and Velma Lee Swearingen Fussnecker; paternal grandparents Arlis and Joy Wells and an aunt, Ruth Ellen Fussnecker Malone.

We want to "thank" everyone for celebrating Donna Jo's life by attending her memorial service on December 19, 2025, at 7:07 P.M.; 40 years and 12 hours after she was brought to life.

Your caring remembrances, expressions of condolence and your presence here today will always hold a place in our shattered hearts and will help us through the days, weeks and months ahead to heal as we reflect on your acts of benevolence remembering with love and fondness a life taken too soon.
