Dorothy J. Sullivan passed away Monday, February 10, 2020. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Premier Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs, TN. Receiving of friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, service at 1:00 pm with burial to follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. Dorothy was born and raised in Lauderdale County, AL. Her father was Brice Richardson, her mother was Ellen Danley. She had two sisters, Mary and Betty and brother, Walter. She adored her Aunt Gay who always treated her so well. She had 6 children: Robert Richardson, Dawn Duke, John Sullivan, Sean Richardson Sr., Sherry Shillings, Lisa Elmore and her "other son" Sonny. She moved to Harriman, TN. the night she graduated high school. She attended college at Roane State and also learned shorthand, which she was so proud of. She retired from TVA Bull Run after working over 31 years. She was very beneficial and an important factor of TVA. Her hobbies included spending time with her loved ones going to church, traveling, playing cards, reading, watching basketball and working on her flower bed. She spent her last days on earth comfortable in her home in Oliver Springs, TN. while in the care of Sean Richardson Jr., wife Haley and also Mary Richardson and loved on by her great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a son, Robert Richardson, by a daughter-in-law, Jerri Lynn Richardson and by great-grandchildren: Michael John Moore and Kritsta Megan Kittrell. Dorothy is survived by her children: Lisa, Sherry, Dawn, Johnny, Sean Sr. and Sonny; by grandchildren: Wendy, Misty, Marney, Ivy, Amy, Blake, Daniel, and Kevin; by great-grandchildren: Sean Jr., Matthew, Mariah, Michael, Brice, Krista, Gavin, Willa, Haven, Laken, Emily, Katelyn, Julie, and Brandon; by great-great-grandchildren: Kolton, Brylee, Kayden, Sean III, Jadeyn, Logan, Leah, Kyler, Samuel, Jerome, Austin, Millie, Charlie, Kymari, Kymaria, and Kymarius; and by special friends: Diane Porter, Linda Tinker, Francis, and Linda.
