Ruth enjoyed sewing and making some of the most beautiful quilts, she also enjoyed
watching her favorite shows like Little House on the Prairie and Andy
Griffith to name a few, all while eating her favorite candy Reese Cups. She had
an amazing green thumb and could grow anything she wanted. She loved
going around to the different junk stores in town. She will be dearly missed
by all that knew her. The world is a little more boring without her in it. However,
anyone who knows the Lord will see her again one day. Please make sure the Lord
knows your name.
Ruth had decided to be cremated and laid to rest with her dad & mom. The family will
hold a private burial of her ashes at a later date.
We would like to give a special thank you to everyone that helped take care of our
mother in her last few months. Family members and all her friends in SunnySide (or
the hood as our mom liked to call it) Thank you all for loving our Mother.
Sharp Funeral Home is proud to be serving the family of Edna McCarter during this time of need.
