Elaina Patterson, age 61of Oak Ridge, left her physical body on Monday, January 27, 2025.
She was born on September 1, 1963 in Vallejo, California and attended Vintage High School in Napa. Upon graduation, she started working with the carnival for Butler Amusement Inc. until 1990. For 12 years, Elaina drove a school bus for the City of Oak Ridge and later worked as a Bartender in the area. Most recently, Elaina was a caregiver for Billie Queener who she loved dearly.
Those who knew Elaina will remember her as the life of the party who lived life to the fullest. She was born with a creative mind who loved to craft and would often volunteer with Anderson County Toy Run and numerous other organizations. She was a free spirit who loved to spend her spare time on a Harley Davidson motorcycle or a trail on horseback. Elaina was a force of nature who loved her people fiercely extending an open door for anyone who needed it. She loved her family and friends unconditionally and was loved back. Most importantly, Elaina was best known as Gama and Momma by her grandchildren and children who meant the world to her.
Elaina is preceded in death by her son, James Fourhorn; brother, Eddy Van Hattem; along with many other friends and extended family.
Survived by mother and father, Piet and Johanna Van Hattem; brother, Piet Van Hattem Jr.; sister, Rosanne Sirois; husband, Victor Patterson; daughter, Brandy Rodrigues; granddaughter, Magnolia Dotson; grandson, Bentley Rodrigues; niece, Valerie Zesiger; her girlfriends known as the Sandbox Sisters, and many other special friends and family.
The Patterson family will hold a Celebration of Life on February 15, 2025 from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Calvary Baptist Church.
In lieu of fresh flowers, the Patterson family requests house plants or for donations made to the family for sudden expenses.
