Everett Carroll, 60, passed away February 17, 2020 in his home, surrounded by his family after a lengthy battle of Kidney cancer. He spent his life working in the coal mines, and during his free time he loved to ginseng and spend time with his family.He is preceded in death by his parents, Martha and Eli Carroll; his siblings, Cecil, Robert, Gracie, Patsy, Glinnis and Gladys; his son, Everett "Buddy" Carroll; his son-in-law, Eddie Daugherty; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Maxine and Hobert Phillips.He is survived by his wife, Suzannah Carroll of Coalfield; daughters, Maxsrine Daugherty of Coalfield and Suvannah and husband Daniel Ivy of Clinton; step-children, Amanda, Caleb and Jake Chaney all of Frost Bottom; brothers, Glen and wife Helen Carroll of Devonia and Bobby and Faye Carroll of Mossy Grove; sisters, Becky and husband Eddie Daugherty of Devonia and Glenna Mae Morgan of Lancing; grandchildren, Robby Daugherty of Harriman, Jonathan Daugherty and girlfriend Toni Jackson of Oliver Springs, Vanessa Daugherty, Caden Daugherty and Kristy Smith all of Coalfield; great grandchildren, Lyric Daugherty, special friends, girlfriend, Peg Chaney; brother-in-law, L.E. Phillips and a host of nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends Friday, February 21, 2020 between the hours of 5:00 – 7:00pm at Premier Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs. Funeral will follow at 7:00pm in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Gene Hunter and Gary Phillips officiating.
