Gregory Bryan Hampton, age 42 of Oliver Springs, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at his residence. He was born on July 4, 1980 and worked as a Machinist at Crossover Drives, Inc. of Loudon, Tennessee. He loved his family first and foremost.  That was his main priority in life, taking care of his family, and we couldn't have been blessed with a better person for that job.  He gave 110 percent of himself to everything he did.  He was a very hard worker and it showed in his work which made him proud.  When he was young, Greg and his father bonded over restoring classic cars, and this passion for cars continued throughout his life.  He enjoyed drag racing, NASCAR, and Formula 1 racing, also, and tried to catch a race whenever he could.  He is preceded in death by father, Gregory Steven Hampton of Clinton, Tennessee; mother, Donna Webb Hampton McCarter of Clinton, Tennessee (passed in July of 2022); paternal grandparents, Jim & Barbara England of Clinton, Tennessee; maternal grandparents, Herbert & Mary Webb of Clinton, Tennessee. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Brooke Jones Hampton and their children, Addison Brianne (9yrs) & Eden McKenna (9yrs) Hampton, all of Oliver Springs, Tennessee and Kevin Bryan Hampton (18yrs), of Clinton, Tennessee.
