JoAnn Shooster, age 69 of Harriman, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Methodist Medical Center. She was born on September 28, 1951 in the Windrock Community of Oliver Springs. JoAnn enjoyed fishing, especially for trout. Most importantly, She devoted all of her time as a wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Mae Turnbill; brothers, Tommy, Leon, Herbert, and Gene Turnbill. Survivors include her husband, Ralph G. Shooster, Jr. of Harriman; children, Daniel G. Boone of Sweetwater and Michael S. Shooster of Niota; brother, Roy Turnbill of Oliver Springs; sisters, Shirley Cox of Oliver Springs and Sue Fritz of Oak Ridge; grandchildren, Hayden Boone of Kingston, Damian Shooster and Christopher Shooster of Harriman; special friends, Travis and Sandy Foster, Billy Cooper. Premier Sharp Funeral Home is proud to be serving the Shooster family.
