Kenneth Lee Amburgey, age 85, of Oak Ridge, passed away on May 19, 2022. Kenneth was born in Middletown, Ohio and moved to Tennessee in 1997. He attended Central Baptist Church in Oak Ridge and Church of God in Clinton.He was a Sunday School teacher who was a devout Christian and devoted to spreading The Word of God.His hobbies included carpentry, wood tinkering, and his pup Be Be. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Lillian Amburgey; wife Elaine Amburgey of 64 years; daughter Margie Mowen; and grandson Joshua Lee Emerson. Kenneth is survived by his daughters Mindy Emerson of Oak Ridge, Vivian Warrick of Romeoville, IL; grandchildren Cassie Emerson, Shannon Dzik, Joshua Dzik; great-grandchildren Emily, Alexus, Audrey and Adrian Rose, Alex Tanhuanpaa, Allie, Brayden, and Chloe Fredricks; special niece Madelyn Capehart; also by extended family and friends. Premier Sharp Funeral Home is honored to serve the Amburgey family.
