Mary Naomi Turnbill, age 69 of Harriman, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at her home.She was born on October 4, 1950 in Oliver Springs. She worked as a Machine Operator at Roane County Hosiery Mill for over 20 years and later worked at Big Lots, Oak Ridge for several years. Mary enjoyed gardening and taking care of her dogs.Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Turnbill; parents, J.P. and Millie Turpin.Survivors include her children, Tina Woods and Tony Turnbill; grandsons, AJ Woods, DJ Woods, Adam Turnbill; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronnie Turpin and wife Dorothy and David Turpin; sister, Ruth Hunter and husband Gene; special nephews, JR Turpin and Steven Hunter and wife Gail.A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Anderson Memorial Gardens with Pastor Garvan Walls officiating. Premier Sharp Funeral Home is proud to be serving the Turnbill family. www.sharpfh.com.
