Mattie Lou Collett, age 79, passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 in the Beech Fork Community of Wartburg.

She was born in June 11, 1945 in Oliver Springs. Her family remembers her as a hard worker who took such good care of everyone, especially her boys and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Don W. Collett.

Survivors include her sons, Britt (Donna) Woods and Deano Woods; grandchildren, Ethan Woods (Marissa), Garrett Woods (Brooklyn), Cameron Emert, and Aaryel Johnson-Francis (Seth); great-grandchildren, Hudson Woods, Eleanor Francis, Enoch Francis, Lincoln Francis, Bella Emert; aunt, Kathryn Shepherd.

A graveside service will be at 10 am on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Butler Cemetery in Oliver Springs with Michael Nichols officiating.
