It is with great sadness that the family of Mattie Evott Kirby Williams, 94 years old of Kingston, TN passed away December 27, 2020. She was born on January 4, 1926 in Clinton, TN.Mattie owned M&G Ceramics in Harriman, TN. She was the best cook in the world. She loved gardening, crafting, traveling, quilting, and was an avid bowler. Her favorite pass time was spending precious time with her loving husband, Eugene. She will be greatly missed.Mattie was many things. A wife of the late Eugene Williams. A mother of the late Marjorie Byrd and surviving daughter, Carol Duncan. She was a proud grandmother of 3, great-grandmother of 7, and great-great-grandmother of 4.Also survived by brother, George Kirby and wife Doris of Silver Creek, MS; very special niece, Lola Parks.Mattie was preceded in death by mother and father, Eb Kirby and Minnie Freels Kirby of Clinton, TN; siblings, sister, Eva White of Clinton and brothers, Earl Kirby of Clinton, Berl Kirby of Pensacola, FL, Alvin Kirby and James Kirby both of Clinton.Premier Sharp Funeral Home is proud to be serving the Williams family.
