Omer Bunch, age 84, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026, in Spring City, TN surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 14, 1942, in New River, TN to the late Sammie and Hazel Seiber Carroll. Omer was an avid shopper and traveler. She loved cooking and baking as well as writing recipes down to give to friends. Omer also enjoyed looking at old photos, talking about history, and talking on the phone with family and friends. Omer met her loving husband Reafus, and married him on March 22, 1960. Her and Reafus spent 44 wonderful years together until his passing in 2005.

Along with her parents, Omer is preceded in death by her husband Reafus Bunch; daughter, Regina Foster; brothers, Houston Carroll, Willie Carroll, Herbie Carroll, James Carroll and Dolphus Carroll. Sisters, Medella Lowe and Rosella Carroll. Grandson, Shawn Seiber; brother-in-law, Ed Lowe; father and mother-in-law, Walter and Laura Bunch, along with a special cousin that was like a sister, Glenith Bratcher.

Omer is survived by her son Scott Bunch; a grandson Brandon and Becky Seiber; great grandchildren, Rodney Seiber, Maci Seiber, Aaliyah Seiber, Cassian Seiber; brother-in-law, Carlos Bunch; and sisters-in-law, Freida Bunch, Margaret Leach, Joyce Carroll, Fredia Carroll and Sue Carroll.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Omer's caregiver, Tiffany Guy. The attention and love shown will never be forgotten.

Receiving of friends will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs, TN. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 P.M. with Carlos Bunch officiating. Burial will be on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Phillips Cemetery in New River, TN.
