Peggy Lynn Patterson, born December 28, 1945, to the late John and Floida Duncan of Petros, Tennessee went to her heavenly home on Sunday, April 6, 2025. Peggy is preceded in death by her husband Daniel Patterson; sisters: Barbara Duncan, Mary Sue Bunch and husband Lloyd, Shirley Taylor and husband George; brothers Roger and Don Duncan along with nephew Lloyd Bunch Jr.

She is survived by her sons Doug Patterson and wife Karla of Harriman; Rodney Patterson and wife Angela of Oak Ridge; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Peggy accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age and attended Petros Baptist Church for many years.  When Daniel accepted Christ, the family joined Big Mountain Baptist Church where she has been a faithful member for 40 years. Peggy loved the Lord and her church family where she had a smile to greet everyone. She enjoyed gardening and canning. Her passions were family gatherings filled with laughter, fellowship, and great food. Her Sundays were spent enjoying her two favorite things, time with her sons and eating pizza. While our hearts are broken, we know that Peggy's heart was filled with the love of her sons and extended family.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00PM-7:00PM Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Premier Sharp Funeral Home. A service will follow in the Chapel at 7:00PM with Rev. Greg Overton and Rev. David Coffman officiating. The graveside service will be Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 11:00AM at Roane Memorial Gardens.
