Peter R. Blevins, age 63 a resident of Oak Ridge, passed away, Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville.   He was born January 23, 1958, in Santa Monica, Ca and has lived the last 10 years in Oak Ridge.  Peter was self-employed as an auto mechanic and was a Nascar enthusiast.  He was known throughout Oak Ridge as the man riding on the sidewalks on his electric wheelchair.  Peter became good friends with his neighbors in the Manhattan Apartments.  He was preceded in death by his parents:  Ralph and Stella Blevins and by a brother, Michael Blevins.  Peter is survived by a sister, Lea Ramsey and husband, Jack of Harriman; by a brother, Roger Blevins and wife, Rita of Pozzallo, Italy and by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and special friends.    Peter chose to be cremated and will be buried by his parents at Anderson Memorial Gardens.  Premier Sharp Funeral Home is proudly serving the Blevins family and we invite you to share a message of condolence to the family at www.sharpfh.com.
