Ricky Lynn Childs, age 59 of Oliver Springs, passed away at Methodist Medical Center on Wednesday, January 8, 2020.He was born on February 22, 1960 in Anderson County and worked as a brick mason with White Brothers Masonry.Ricky is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Childs; mother, Carella Childs; son-in-law, William Crabtree; nieces, Melinda Andrews and Deana Childs.He is survived by his wife, Kathy Childs; Savannah Westmoreland and husband Adam, Sylvia Childs and Scott Adkins, Tasha Patterson and husband Jeff Breden, Brandon Bunch and wife Sandy; brother, David Childs and wife Vanessa; sisters, Norma Sue Andrews and husband Ray, Tammy Price and husband Leon, Theresa Jones; grandchildren, Landon Westmoreland, Ryan Cox "Matt-Matt", Jana Adkins, Raylynn Childs, Scottie Childs, Lilian Adkins, Tyler Patterson, Braxton Patterson, Natile Patterson, Lily Patterson, and Kantessa Bunch. Also survived by Brenda Andrews and many nieces and nephews that were very close.Ricky was a very loving father and husband who loved all his kids and grandchildren. He loved working on cars, going fishing, and listening to music. He was loved by many and very rarely met a stranger. Ricky would open his home to anyone in need and he always put himself last.We love you Daddy and we will miss you. We will see you again someday-but until then, you will be in our hearts. We love you. Rest in Peace.Visitation will be from 12-2 pm on Monday, January 13, 2020 at Premier Sharp Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 2 pm with Preacher Ralph Wilson officiating. Graveside service will immediately follow at Mt.
