Rodney Lee Gulley of Oak RIdge, TN was met by Jesus at the gates of Heaven Friday, May 15, 2026, at the age of 54. He was born October 9, 1971, in Dayton, Ohio to the late Lloyd Gulley Jr. and Brenda York Gulley.

He loved being around family and close friends. He loved landscaping and antiquing. Mr. Gulley was very creative.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Gulley, his grandparents Gertrude Moore, Sherman York, Dorothy Gulley and Lloyd Gulley Sr., his brothers Lloyd Gulley III, Danny and Butch Gulley.

Rodney is survived by his stepfather and stepmother, Charles "Eugene" Chaney and Patricia Melton Gulley Chaney, his half brother T.J. Gulley and sister-in-law Greta Gulley. He is also survived by his nieces Shawna Steelman, Casey Gulley, and special great niece Chloe Gulley, nephew Brad Gorman and numerous great nieces and nephews. Along with his girlfriend of many years, Mary Ellen Frost.

Services for Mr. Gulley will be Wednesday May 20, 2026 at 7:00pm in the chapel of Sharp Funeral Home officiated by Sherry Daughtery. Visitation will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Burial will be Thursday May 23, 2026 at 11:00am at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. There will be a procession from the funeral home to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brad Steelman, Jake Hager, Joe Hyde, Devin Watson, William Hardwick, Anthony Vann, Jimmie York, and Tyler Miller.
