Ronnie Newman age 66 went home to be with the Lord on November 19, 2024 after a short battle with cancer.

Ronnie had a passion for deer hunting and working on cars, especially building his Jeep. Most of all, he loved his grandchildren whom called him "Poppy".

Ronnie attended Beech Park Baptist Church and worked until his retirement as a Machinist for Remington Storm Lake in Lenior City. Throughout his career at Storm Lake, Ronnie made many special friends.

Ronnie is survived by wife, Melissa; children, Hannah Pyles and husband Kenny along with Rebekah Nation and husband Michael; stepchildren, Nathan Newman and Emily Huffstetler; grandchildren: Sadie Pyles, Dawson West, Hadlee Nation, Annora Pyles, Awston Nation and Weston Nation; cousins include Mark Hightower, Tim Reed, Matt Reed; special friend, Terry Holland; sister, Darlene Newman.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Aaron Newman & Maryann Jago Newman.
