Sarah Steward Lawson, age 79, went Home to be with the Lord, peacefully, surrounded by her family on March 30, 2023, at Methodist Medical Center.She was born in Alabama on May 22, 1943, and moved to Tennessee at a young age where she lived for the rest of her life. She was the owner of Sarah's Gifts and Collectibles in Oliver Springs and was a Tennessee Real Estate Agent. Her Husband Richard is the Associate Pastor at Beechfork Holiness Church where she was a member, pastor's wife, Sunday School teacher, and church event coordinator. Sarah enjoyed macrame, baking, and most of all spending time with her family.Sarah is proceeded in death by her parents; John "Jack" and Louise Steward, siblings; Gary Dean Steward and Patricia Tripp.She is survived by her Husband of 58 years; Richard A. Lawson, children; Michael A. Lawson of Knoxville, Tina Sexton and husband John of Coalfield, Christopher William Lawson of Oliver Springs, brothers; Edward Steward and wife Maricia, John Steward, Ronnie Steward and wife Terry, sisters; Sharon Eason and husband Tom, Janice Eason and husband Mike, grandchildren; Jared Sexton and wife Amelia, Anna Tuggle and husband Joshua, Summer Sexton, great grandchildren; Jase, Sawyer, Rusty, Levi, brother in law; Johnny Lawson and wife Shirley, sister in law; Margie Harris, a host of nieces, nephews, ext. family and many special friends.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Beechfork Holiness Church at 218 Beech Fork Road, Wartburg, TN 37887.The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 12:00-2:00pm at Premier Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs. A funeral service will begin at 2:00pm in the chapel with Pastor Josh Eason and Pastor Herman Woods officiating.
