Shelia T. Childress, age 64, of Rockwood, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

She was of Baptist faith, enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, and watching wildlife,

Shelia is preceded in death by her parents Mose Tuck and Minnie Brown; brothers Michael Tuck, Mickey Tuck, and Mose Tuck; and sisters Geraldine Phillips and Zona Hall.

She is survived by her children Shantel Brown and husband Ray Brown of Powell, TN, Jacob Childress of Harriman, TN, Johnny Childress of Sunbright, TN, Eric Childress of Rockwood, TN, and Amy Childress of Nashville, TN; grandchildren Shawn Childress of Cookeville, TN, Destiny Childress of Powell, TN, Joseph Childress of Spring City, TN, Kaytlynn Coffey of Rockwood, TN; Lacey Bilbrey and husband of Whitehouse, TN, Karley Johnson of Whitehouse, TN, Tyler Johnson of Whitehouse, TN, Madison Childress of Knoxville, and Reagan Childress of Knoxville; great-grandchildren Desmond, Delilah, Ember, and Lotus; also by The Love of her Life Doug Witt; and a host of special cousins, nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2024, from 1:00PM to 5:00PM.

A Celebration of Life will be held following the visitation at 5:00PM.
