Verda W. Robbins, age 92 a resident of Oliver Springs, passed away, Monday, March 1, 2021 at the Alexander Guest House in Oak Ridge.Mrs Robbins was born January 17, 1929 in Anderson County, TN.  She was a lifelong resident of this area. Verda was a homemaker and a foster parent who provided a safe haven for over 400 children in Anderson County.  She was a member of Frost Bottom Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 211.She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Webb; by her mother, Ellen Duncan Webb; by her husband, Charles W. Robbins; by her son-in-law, Edward W. Green; by her brother, Joseph Webb; by her sisters:  Lassie Key, Bonnie Qualls, Vauda Rainey, Grace Meek, and Ruby Webb;  a foster child Beau.Verda is survived by her children:  Brenda Raymond (Jot) of Harriman, TN, Phyllis Green of Oliver Springs, TN, and special foster children, Harla Sue, Robert and Elizabeth; by grandchildren:  Scot Green (Lisa), Matt Green (Leighann), Jon Green, Christopher Raymond, Leaann Habib, and Bethanie Gilmore; by great-grandchildren:  Kinley, Emery, and Avery Green, Brock, Teagan, and Tatum Green, Lily Adkisson, Bryce and Chase Green, Nolan, Jonas, Ava, and Remi Raymond, Brynlee and Bea Bussell, Daylan and Adam Habib, Hudson, Easton, and Harper Gilmore; brothers and sisters-in-law:  Clarence and Hilda Robbins, Margaret Robbins, and Bob and Faye Robbins.The family will receive friends, Thursday, March 4, 2021 between the hours of 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm at Premier Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs, TN.  The funeral will follow at 8:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Brother Jason Robbins officiating.  Burial and graveside services will be held, Friday, March 5, 2021 at 11:00 am at Frost Bottom Cemetery.  Donations can be made in Mrs. Robbins name to Children's Hospital Development P.O.
